On 30/05/2018 a fascinating event was held at Intel, Kiryat Gat.
The event was put together thanks to the partnership between Intel Israel, Jasmine and Zionut 2000. This partnership created a dedicated and determined group whose goal is to promote and lead the field of social responsibility and supplier diversity.
Intel’s program to diversify the supply chain is an example of the organization worldview, where awareness and commitment to the subject are clearly on the organizational agenda. Intel is a partner in the “WeConnect” International program conducted by the Jasmine in Israel. This program promotes women-owned businesses through their certification and integration as business-suppliers of leading companies. “Zionut 2000” works to develop a culture of social responsibility by encouraging and supporting organizations that wish to increase their community involvement. They are also work with corporations to promote employment diversity.
The event dealt with concepts of diverse supplier management and was attended by representatives managers from leading companies in Israel. During this event, the representatives were exposed to advanced work methods: Zionut 2000 – Perceptions in diverse supplier management, Intel – Acquaintance with Intel and it’s purchasement field. In addition, the representatives were invited to share their knowledge and experience.
The companies and corporations are an important part of the “WeSource – Diversifying the supply chain” venture initiated and managed by Jasmine, in cooperation with Leumi Bank, Strauss Group and Zionut 2000. The venture is designed to address the corporation’s request. “WeSource” encourages the ongoing integration of diverse businesses as suppliers in large corporations in Israel – that are seeking to enrich their supplier chain. The project serves as an active platform that enables direct connection between the corporations and the businesses themselves. This is a comprehensive program that includes process of training and building the capabilities of the diverse businesses.
